Ingredients
Part 1
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 Tbsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp white sugar
Part 2
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp cornmeal (plus extra to sprinkle)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450F and lightly oil a pizza pan
- Mix water, yeast, and sugar until it activates
- Add olive oil and dry ingredients, then knead to a smooth dough (approx. 10 minutes)
- Sprinkle work surface with cornmeal, and roll dough into a circle to fit your pan. Place on prepared pizza pan, crimp edges, and add your favourite toppings
- Bake for 15 minutes or until done
